Entry requirements

The requirements to start an apprenticeship can vary based on the type and level of the apprenticeship and the organisation offering it. For example:

For some advanced level apprenticeships, you might need four or five GCSEs with grades 9-4/A-C or something similar.

To begin a higher apprenticeship, you may need A-levels, equivalent level 3 qualifications, or relevant experience.

But do not worry if you don’t have all of the qualifications such as Maths and English GCSEs, many providers can help you to achieve your Maths and English GCSEs while you are doing your apprenticeship!
